Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

As an Inside Sales and Marketing intern, your main responsibility is to identify prospective targets at international level (especially in the APAC region) and generate business opportunities. Besides acquiring a good understanding on the sales development process, your central role in the organization also allows you to gain a deeper insight on the tangible values that are specially curated for clients.

In addition, you will partake in the implementation of an efficient marketing strategy in order to facilitate sales operations on the targeted markets. You will also support the existing marketing tools of the company (CRM, social media, websites, …).

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your responsibilities will essentially be structured around the following points:

  • Gather data on Countries / Targets / Competitors / Potential partners through various channels (professional associations’ documentation, web etc)
  • Assist in the administration of requirement analysis and proposal compilation for clients
  • Support the sales team for canvassing
  • Support to the marketing team (translation of marketing documents, redaction of press releases, and update of the client database…);
  • Explore and propose key professional events on targeted markets.

JOB PROFILE:

Third or Final year students from Engineering or Business School/University (or equivalent), with a high interest in IT and the financial/business software sector.

  • English as native language, with Bahasa Malaysia or Bahasa Indonesia or Mandarin or Thai as additional language(s)
  • Enthusiastic, persuasive and curious by nature, with a high desire to gain experience in the field of software solutions selling, in an international context.

TERMS:

  • Duration: 6 months (3 months minimum), full-time preferred (part-time possible as well) 
  • Starting date: August / September / October 2017
