The Human Resource intern will support the day-to-day running of the teams, focusing on recruitment as well as team member engagement.
Talent Acquisition:
Work closely with team leads to draft and publish openings on recruitment platforms for staff, interns, and volunteers.
Monitor and follow up on applications, including arranging and conducting interviews, preparing contracts, and onboarding incoming members.
Human Capital Management:
Streamline HR processes and develop policies to improve efficiency and build culture.
Employee Engagement:
Collaborate with team leads to review and update the status of volunteers, re-engaging or offboarding them as necessary.
Support the growth of team members by planning and implementing professional development initiatives.
Coordinate with staff to plan and carry out organisation-wide engagement activities, including staff check-ins and bonding sessions, volunteer newsletters, and volunteer huddles.
Send and analyse information from mental health check-in messages.
