The Academy of Certified Counsellors, established in 2003, seeks to raise the ethical standards and professionalism of counsellors through strategic training and educational programmes.We organise training workshops by established trainers in counselling, psychotherapy and psychology to cater to the needs of counsellors, psychologists and other helping professionals.


Through experiences in and out of the classroom, students learn the skills of intellectual inquiry, prepare for challenging professions, network cum strengthen relationships with the human services communities and contribute productively to the society. In addition we organise seminars on counselling and psychology for the public.


ACC is dedicated to provide high quality programmes that meet the evolving needs of our students, local and regional community. We also recognise diversity in our society and embrace a cross-cultural approach in support of growth, dignity, potential and uniqueness of each individual.Various categories of memberships to the Academy will be available to persons having the relevant qualifications and experience. The Academy will be having a newsletter on counselling for its members.

Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in reaching out to and growing our customer database by researching through website and social media site.

The high level of activity requires the individual to balance a range of responsibilities via phone and enquiry follow-up.

S/He is reporting to Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

•To contribute to the team in a vibrant, professional and positive manner

•To enter up-to-date data for all databases necessary for the successful expansion of the conference and event businesses.

•Carrying out qualitative or quantitative research and grow the contacts locally.

•To cross check content of existing data to ensure accuracy

•To answer the telephone and make outgoing calls to corporate requirements

•To assist all departments in an administrative capacity as required

•And any other tasks delegated by senior management
