Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Plan site design for Abacus’ website
- Develops site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content.
- Develops site content and graphics by designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.
- Establishes locatability by registering with search engines.
- Upgrades site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links.
- Protects site by designing and installing security precautions.
- Maintains site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards; editing submissions.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficient with MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Photoshop
- Able to understand basic Java and basic HTML coding
- Extremely fluent in English with excellent communication skill
- An expert in design visual theory (i.e. composition, colour theory, typography etc.)
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task, and handle stressful situations with poise, understanding, and tact
- Experience in using WIX is an advantage
Qualification:
- A design/advertising undergraduate (Local universities, LASALLE, NAFA) or diploma in design-related courses
