Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will provide support, analysis and expertise to the regional supply chain and technical

operations team and their processes and systems administration activities. Providing support and

analysis such as the co-ordination of KPI reporting for the Asia Pacific region, supply planning,

management of inventory and inbound supply, and manufacturing optimisation.

Additionally, the Supply Chain Intern will support the Regional Supply Chain Manager(s) as a project

officer in the execution of key supply chain continuous improvement initiatives and projects related to

processes and systems.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Compilation and verification of KPI reporting from all APAC countries.

 Perform system administration activities for supply chain planning systems and managing the

related audit documentation.

 Ensuring compliance to procedures across the region and standardise ways of working in line

with best practices.

 Support periodic inventory strategy review process for the APAC countries.

 Support and administrate supply chain planning and execution across Menarini’s international

supply chain footprint

 Participate in supply chain and technical operations improvement project and initiatives, with

measurable improvements and results

 Participating in key projects as a project management officer, collaborating with cross-functional

stakeholders and with all APAC countries to provide analysis, identify gaps and recommend

solutions as well as performing project management administrative tasks of tracking project

timelines and preparing management reporting.

 

SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECTS:

In addition to general supply chain responsibilities and support, the successful candidate will

undertake and lead ONE supply chain project during their internship. Current projects identified and

may be assigned depending on fit, include;

i) Implement regional S&OP as part of a global program

 Translate standard S&OP process and global templates into Menarini Asia-Pacific regional

business planning processes

 Work with Regional Supply Chain Manager and other regional stakeholders to integrate

standard data and process into ways-of-working

 Prepare and deploy necessary documentation and support to facilitate (any) process changes

 Present data and planning solutions to regional (cross-functional) stakeholders

ii) Planning Systems Training Package – Demand and Supply planning

 Combine knowledge of planning with technology and presentation skills to create regional

training tools accessible online

 Work with country-level business stakeholders to understand regional training needs in supply

chain planning and systems

 Leverage regional supply chain expertise and experience to translate needs into training tools

 Present training package / solution to regional (cross-functional) stakeholders

iii) Support Technical Transfers

 Provide project planning, analysis and support to a technical transfer project, moving the

manufacture of a pharmaceutical product from one site to another

 Work with regional business stakeholders to understand regional regulatory, quality, cost and

capabilities and integrate to transfer plans

 Prepare and deploy necessary documentation and support to facilitate (any) project plan

changes

 Present Transfer project plan to regional (cross-functional) stakeholders

iv) Provide analysis and support as part of global sourcing and manufacturing strategy

 Collate and analyse supplier and product spend data from our regional network and partners

as part of global sourcing and manufacturing strategy project

 Work with Regional Technical Operations to identify and prioritise optimisation projects

 Present strategy and updates to regional (cross-functional) stakeholders
