Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

During the internship, the Regional HR Intern will support key HR initiatives across the region, with a primary focus on talent acquisition, employer branding, and assisting with the planning and logistics of our Company Annual Leadership Conference and Awards Ceremony. The Regional HR Intern will also support the rest of the Regional HR Team as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Internship Program & Talent Acquisition

  • Responsible for Internship Program in the Regional Office, including candidate sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating offer letters.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for interns, ensuring a positive and seamless experience from recruitment, onboarding and through to offboarding.
  • Assist the Regional HR Manager, Talent Acquisition & People Engagement in a variety of recruitment activities, such as posting job descriptions, managing applicant tracking, and providing administrative support.
  • Maintain and update the talent database for future pipelining initiatives.
  • Leverage technology for a smoother onboarding process (e.g. Online videos sharing the steps as a guide to use the systems)

Employer Branding & Employee Engagement

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the region.
  • Work closely with Regional Corporate Communications Team with the creation of engaging content for internal and external communication channels, such as social media and career page.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for employee engagement activities at the Regional Office.

Corporate Events

  • Assist in the planning, logistics, and execution of the Company Annual Leadership Conference and Awards Ceremony.
  • Support with event coordination tasks, including vendor communication, venue management, and creating event materials.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic team environment.
  • High level of initiative, a positive attitude, and a strong sense of discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Effective time management skills to enable delivery of a busy and varied workload
  • Previous experience in event planning or HR is a plus, but not required.
