Role Description

You will use concrete monitoring data to drive engineering decisions on reinforced concrete (RC) works at Singapore construction sites. You will deploy our sensors and turn temperature and strength data into outcomes such as formwork striking, loading readiness and curing. You will also apply your understanding of concrete behaviour, cracking and concreting standards to help site teams deliver quality work.

Responsibilities

- Analyse in-situ temperature and strength data using the maturity method to support site decisions such as formwork striking, stressing, loading and curing duration

- Data analysis and flag discrepancies to site teams.

- Support thermal assessments for mass pours and recommend curing measures

- Support sensor installation on RC elements, provide site support and training, and prepare method statements, QA/QC documents and trial reports

- Support sites in meeting Singapore codes and practices for concreting, such as SS EN 206, SS EN 13670, SS EN 12390, Eurocode 2 and BCA guidelines

- Identify and assess concrete cracking, and recommend measures to control it

- Apply lessons from past projects and case studies to give practical guidance to site teams on RC works

- Contribute site feedback to product improvement, and assist with technical proposals and presentations

Requirements

- Pursuing a degree or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related engineering or built-environment field

- Foundational knowledge of concrete technology and RC construction

- Familiarity with, or interest in, concreting standards and site QA/QC

- Comfortable working on construction sites; CSOC certification is a plus

- Good analytical skills (Excel, Python or MATLAB), attention to detail, and self-motivation
