The Role

Aid is looking for a Business Development Intern to support our growth across architectural acoustics, interior design, and building materials.

You will work on real commercial opportunities across multiple markets, helping identify prospects, research new sectors, support client outreach, and develop proposals for architects, designers, contractors, and project partners.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is commercially minded, curious, and comfortable working with both people and data.

What You’ll Work On

Business Development & Sales Support

- Research potential clients, projects, consultants, contractors, and business partners

- Support lead generation, outreach, and follow-up across different markets

- Assist with preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, and client materials

- Maintain and organise sales leads, opportunities, and customer information

Market Research & Strategy

- Research new markets, sectors, competitors, and commercial opportunities

- Identify upcoming architectural and construction projects relevant to Aid’s products

- Analyse market trends and customer needs to support business development decisions

- Assist in evaluating potential distributors, partners, and regional opportunities

Client & Project Coordination

- Support communication with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders

- Assist with product enquiries, samples, technical information, and project follow-ups

- Coordinate internally with design, operations, and marketing teams to support opportunities

- Contribute ideas to improve sales processes, outreach, and market positioning

What We’re Looking For

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Commercial awareness and an interest in business development or sales

- Comfortable conducting research and working with data

- Organised, proactive, and attentive to detail

- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

- Confident learning about technical products and communicating them clearly

Experience with CRM tools, spreadsheets, presentation software, or digital research tools is an advantage.

Students or graduates from Business, Marketing, Economics, Communications, Architecture, Engineering, or related disciplines are welcome to apply.

Compensation

S$1,000–S$1,400/month

Final compensation will depend on education level, experience, and suitability for the role.
