Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for Claims Officers to support bill and claim verification, appeal reviews, enquiry handling, data management and administrative activities for our outsourced programme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing submitted information and supporting documents, handling enquiries, maintaining accurate records and supporting the overall delivery of the scheme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform verification and accuracy checks on submitted bills and claims.
  • Verify supporting documents against system records.
  • Review appeals by assessing supporting documents and drafting review templates.
  • Make recommendations based on the information and documentation provided.
  • Respond to inbound customer calls, handle enquiries from members of the public and external stakeholders professionally.
  • Process and maintain large volumes of data accurately.
  • Prepare reports and assist with data analysis and reconciliation where required.
  • Perform administrative and documentation tasks related to scheme operations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the relevant systems.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing information or inconsistencies and carry out the necessary follow-up.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately and within the required timelines and service standards.
  • Follow established procedures, guidelines and confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

  • GCE ‘A’ Level with at least 3 passes, Diploma, or a recognised equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in bill / claim verification, appeal reviews, enquiry handling, data management, administrative work or customer service.
  • Experience in checking documents, processing data, handling customer enquiries or performing administrative functions will be relevant.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
