Well Smart International Investment – Procurement & Business Intern

Well Smart International Investment is a Singapore-based group with operations in Singapore, Australia and New Zealand.  

This is a hands-on internship. You will own real tasks from week one, and your work will go to the C-level.

What you will do

• Research and shortlist suppliers in Singapore, China and the region
• Request and compare quotations — price, lead time, payment terms, minimum order quantity
• Build the comparison table and put up a clear recommendation
• Communicate with suppliers in Mandarin and English, and chase items until they are closed
• Use AI tools every day to research unfamiliar products and markets, structure options and organise information
• Keep the trackers and follow-up lists for the matters you own
• ad-hoc

What you need

• Currently enrolled in a Singapore university. Supply chain, business, economics, data analytics or a related discipline preferred, but we are open on discipline
• Professional-level Mandarin. You will read Chinese-language documents and deal with China-based suppliers, including over WeChat
• Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets for comparisons
• Real, hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or similar) for research and drafting — not occasional use
• Curious, organised, and willing to chase something until it is done

No prior procurement experience needed.
