Oakwood & Drehem Capital is a Singapore-based boutique corporate advisory firm. The firm provides corporate advisory, M&A advisory, capital advisory, corporate fundraising, pre-IPO advisory, transaction advisory, restructuring, and corporate services support to businesses across Singapore, China, and Southeast Asia.
The intern will support the team in corporate advisory projects, cross-border business development, client coordination, corporate secretarial matters, compliance documentation, and market research.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
1. Corporate Advisory & Project Support
-Support ongoing corporate advisory, M&A, pre-IPO, and cross-border business projects.
-Assist in preparing project materials, meeting notes, presentation decks, client summaries, and internal updates.
-Conduct basic market research, company research, industry research, and business information collection.
-Support the team in tracking project progress, follow-ups, and client deliverables.

2. Client Communication & Business Coordination
-Assist in communicating with clients, business partners, and external service providers.
-Help collect and organize client information, required documents, and project-related materials.
-Draft and refine emails, WhatsApp messages, meeting summaries, and bilingual communication materials when required.
-Support coordination for meetings, calls, events, and follow-up action items.

3. Corporate Secretarial, Compliance & KYC Support
-Assist with corporate secretarial documentation, filing, scanning, printing, and record keeping.
-Support KYC and compliance processes, including collecting client particulars, identification documents, proof of address, company documents, and other required information.
-Help coordinate with internal teams on company incorporation, corporate governance, statutory documents, engagement letters, and related administrative processes.

4. Accounting, Tax & Corporate Services Coordination
-Assist in coordinating with internal accounting and tax teams on client matters, including financial statements, GST registration/submission, corporate income tax filing, invoices, and supporting documents.
-Help summarize client requests and communicate key information clearly to the relevant internal team members.
-Support documentation and follow-up for corporate services projects.

5. Business Development & Cross-border Projects
-Support business development initiatives involving Singapore, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and other regional markets.
-Assist in preparing company profiles, pitch decks, proposals, client briefing notes, and partnership materials.
-Conduct research on potential clients, partners, industries, and regional business opportunities.
-Support follow-up work after business events, networking sessions, and client meetings.

Requirements:
- Undergraduate student in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law, Communications, or related disciplines.
- Able to commit to a full-time internship, preferably under LOA or credit-bearing internship arrangement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred due to frequent communication with Chinese-speaking clients.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with client-facing communication, document handling, research, and coordination work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and email communication.
- Interest in corporate advisory, M&A, corporate finance, business development, corporate services, compliance, or cross-border business is preferred.
