Seven Clean Seas Pte Ltd – Paid Volunteer for a CSR Activity

Seven Clean Seas is an ocean impact organisation dedicated to tackling plastic pollution through recovery, education, and circular economy solutions. We work with businesses to create measurable environmental and social impact by operating plastic recovery projects, delivering employee engagement and CSR programmes, and helping organisations reduce their plastic footprint. 

We are seeking 4 enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to join our team for a beach cleanup in Pulau Ubin on September 10 (07:30am. - 12:30pm.). This role will involve working closely with our CSR Partnerships Coordinator to assist in organizing and executing the beach cleanup in Pulau Ubin, Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation for beach clean-up activities, including checking stock equipment and arranging necessary logistics. 

• Aid in the coordination of Seven Clean Seas' event, including logistics and setup.

• Engage with event attendees, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere. 

• Assist with administrative tasks related to event planning and coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE 

• Passion for environmental conservation and a commitment to reducing marine plastic pollution.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse groups of people.

• Proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment.

TIME COMMITMENT

• 5 hours on the event date with (possibly) a few additional hours of coordination and admin work prior to the event as assigned

• Candidates must be based in singapore

• Good experience for portfolios especially for Poly VIA hours / JC VIA hours / uni portfolios etc.

• Transportation to and from pulau ubin island will be provided as well as food

• Other transportation costs surrounding the event will be reimbursed
