Job Description

Internship with Full-Time Employment Opportunity

MediaOne is looking for interns who are serious about building a career in SEO, GEO and AI Search.

This is not just an internship for fulfilling school requirements. We are looking for candidates who want to learn the profession properly, gain hands-on experience and potentially join us full-time after the internship.

What you will learn

  • Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
  • Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
  • AI Search optimisation for ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and other AI platforms
  • Keyword and search-intent research
  • Competitor analysis
  • Website and technical SEO audits
  • On-page optimisation
  • Content optimisation and content strategy
  • Link and authority analysis
  • SEO/GEO campaign planning
  • Analytics, rankings and performance reporting
  • Using AI and digital marketing tools including Digimetrics.ai

What you will do

  • Assist the SEO/GEO team with live client campaigns
  • Research keywords, competitors, industries and search trends
  • Analyse websites and identify optimisation opportunities
  • Help optimise pages and content for traditional and AI search
  • Conduct SEO/GEO audits
  • Track rankings, visibility and campaign performance
  • Prepare findings and recommendations
  • Learn how experienced consultants manage real client campaigns

Who we are looking for

  • Interested in building a career in SEO, GEO or digital marketing
  • Curious about Google, AI, ChatGPT and how people search online
  • Analytical and comfortable working with data
  • Good command of written English
  • Willing to learn technical concepts
  • Resourceful and able to research independently
  • Responsible and able to follow through on assigned work
  • No previous SEO/GEO experience required if you have the right attitude and aptitude

Good to have

  • Digital marketing, business, communications, IT or related studies
  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Experience with ChatGPT or other AI tools
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console or SEO tools
  • Basic HTML or web knowledge
