KIMIA Recover is a comprehensive recovery management solution providing reduction in number of hospital visits and complications for knee patients.
Kinexcs' digital platform uses artificial intelligence for MSK assessment and therapy. This platform is capable of providing pre-consultation assessments and real-time exercise guidance and feedback to musculoskeletal patients, and is being adopted by some of the largest private healthcare providers and corporates.
ROLE SUMMARY
Build practical experience at the intersection of quality, engineering and operations in a regulated medical device environment. The intern will take ownership of defined assignments, work with cross-functional teams and apply academic knowledge to real quality and operational challenges. The role combines structured learning with hands-on exposure, data review, documentation and process-improvement work, enabling the intern to develop transferable skills for a future career in engineering, quality, manufacturing or operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct quality evaluations of components and finished devices using approved procedures and tools, while developing practical skills in quality assurance and accurate documentation.
• Maintain quality records, traceability information, and controlled documentation in accordance with company procedures, gaining practical exposure to ISO 13485 quality management principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to continuous-improvement activities through the review of existing workflows and the development of practical enhancements.
• Gain hands-on exposure to assembly and inventory activities to build an understanding of day-to-day medical device operations.
WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
• Practical familiarity with medical device quality-management principles aligned with ISO 13485, including good documentation practices, nonconforming material controls, traceability, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
• Hands-on experience in quality evaluation, controlled documentation, and inventory-related activities within a regulated medical device environment.
• Career-relevant skills in process review, problem-solving, professional communication, and the development of practical improvement recommendations.
REQUIREMENTS
• Pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in engineering, life sciences, quality, manufacturing, operations, supply chain or a related discipline.
• Curious, proactive and detail-oriented, with an interest in learning through both analytical and hands-on work.
• Basic spreadsheet, data-handling and documentation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
• Prior industry experience is not required.
