Silverback Air-Con Pte. Ltd. is a Singapore-based air-conditioning servicing, installation and maintenance company serving residential and commercial clients island-wide. We are investing in automation and applied AI to modernise how our operations run, and this internship offers real, hands-on operational impact in a growing SME.
About the role: As our AI Operations Intern, you will design, build and deploy automation and applied-AI tools that streamline how Silverback runs day to day. A hands-on role for a Computing/Engineering student keen on automation, applied AI and software.
What you will do:
- Map and document repetitive manual workflows (quotations, scheduling, invoicing, reporting, data entry)
- Build automations using scripting and no-code/low-code tools to replace manual steps
- Integrate company systems (Google Sheets, accounting, CRM, WhatsApp, scheduling) via APIs
- Apply AI/LLM APIs to tasks such as data extraction, classification and drafting
- Build simple dashboards and reports for management visibility
- Test, document and hand over your solutions
What we are looking for:
- Foundational programming (e.g. Python, JavaScript)
- Interest in automation, scripting and applied AI/LLMs
- Comfortable with APIs, spreadsheets and structured data
- Analytical, self-directed and able to document and hand over work
Arrangement: Hybrid - mostly on-site at our Mandai office, with some remote days.
