Tutors for Secondary, IB, JC Pre-University, and SAT Programs
About the Role
TIG Launchpad is looking to bring on tutors for secondary level, IB, JC pre-university, and SAT preparation to support growing demand from families in Singapore and internationally.
This is an ad hoc engagement. Students will be matched to you as enrolments come in and you will be compensated on an hourly basis for each session delivered. We are seeking subject experts who can deliver clear, structured lessons that improve both academic results and readiness for university applications.
Subjects we are hiring for include:
For IB: Mathematics Analysis and Approaches HL and SL, Mathematics Applications and Interpretations HL and SL, Physics HL and SL, Chemistry HL and SL, Biology HL and SL, Economics HL and SL, Business Management HL and SL, Psychology HL and SL, History HL and SL, English Language and Literature HL and SL, English Literature HL and SL, Computer Science HL and SL, plus support for Extended Essay and Theory of Knowledge.
For JC and A Level: H1 and H2 Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, History, Literature in English, and General Paper.
For Standardized Test Prep: SAT Math, SAT Reading and Writing, ACT Math, ACT English, ACT Reading, ACT Science, and AP subjects including AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Statistics, AP Physics, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Economics, and AP Computer Science.
What You Will Do
1. Conduct one to one and small group tutoring sessions online or in person in Singapore as required
2. Develop lesson plans and practice materials tailored to IB, A Level, JC, and SAT syllabi
3. Monitor student progress and provide updates to students and parents
Who You Are
1. Bachelor's degree required. Master's or PhD preferred. Graduates from top universities preferred
2. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the subjects listed above
3. At least 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience preferred
4. Able to explain concepts clearly and motivate high-achieving students
5. Organized, dependable, and available for scheduled sessions
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rates will vary based on seniority and subject area and will be competitive with current market rates in Singapore. As this is an ad hoc arrangement, you will be assigned students as they become available and paid per hour for completed sessions. The role also includes attractive benefits for client referrals. Tutors who refer families who sign up for our tuition or admissions support services will be eligible for affiliate commission on those referrals.
