Job Description

The intern is expected to assist in developing a guidebook for First Time Manager and Middle Management to support their journey as a supervisor by providing them with guidance, practical tips and tools etc.

The intern will also help to coordinate and support some of the leadership development programmes/meetings organised for the leaders.

Key Duties & Responsibilities / Work Areas

1. Developing Guidebook

  • Compile research findings and propose relevant ideas for inclusion in the guidebook
  • Take reference from guidebooks or frameworks used by other organisations, where applicable
  • Providing suitable case scenarios to illustrate concepts, where applicable
  • Assist in drafting, organising and structuring the guidebook
  • Ensure consistency in formatting, layout, and clarity of content

2. Data Analysis

  • Consolidate feedback from leadership development programmes
  • Track participation and learning hours
  • Assist in analysing survey data and summarising insights for management reports

3. Programme & Event Implementation

  • Support end-to-end coordination of leadership development programmes
  • Coordinate logistics including venue booking, materials preparation, attendance tracking, feedback gathering and post-event follow-up etc.

 

Requirements

Education Background

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management, Business, Psychology, Organisational Development, or related disciplines
  • Keen interest in HR, leadership development and organisational effectiveness

Skills & Competencies

  • Able to conduct desktop research and summarise findings clearly
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint to assist in preparing presentation deck and Microsoft Excel for basic data analysis and tracking
  • Detail-oriented and organised
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
