About Service Development - Disability Support and Services 

The Service Development - Disability Support and Services division drives the end-to-end development of adult disability services, from ecosystem review and service model design to implementation, evaluation and scale-up. We work closely with MSF and community partners to translate policy intent into effective programmes, leveraging data and ground insights to inform service design and delivery, to drive outcomes for persons with disabilities and their caregivers.

Job Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The intern will be deployed to one or more workstreams spanning (A) service planning and development, and (B) service implementation, management and partnerships, for on-going pilot programmes, which may include Enabling Services Hub (ESH), Enabled Living Programme (ELP), Home Support Programme (HSP) and Enabling Skills for Life Programme (ESLP).

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Track A: Service planning and development

  • Conduct literature reviews and desktop research on local and international best practices
  • Identify service gaps and emerging needs
  • Support the conceptualising and refining of service models and planning parameters (e.g. theory of change; desired outcomes; KPIs)
  • Identify trends and service gaps through data analytics
  • Prepare briefing decks and other related materials for inter-agency discussions, stakeholder engagements and focus group discussions

Track B: Service implementation, management and partnerships

  • Support the translation of service models into operational frameworks (e.g. develop operating guidelines; draft playbooks and SOPs)
  • Track and identify operational gaps through data analytics (e.g. service utilisation; client attrition)
  • Engage stakeholders for operational feedback
  • Synthesise stakeholder feedback into actionable insights
  • Support the development of training content

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesise information and communicate insights clearly
  • Strong writing skills
  • Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working in a dynamic work environment
  • Interest in disability services and support
  • Experience with data analysis (preferred but not a requirement)
