About the Division 

Service Administration (SA) Division collaborates with various disability Social Service Agencies (SSAs), special education (SPED) Schools and other stakeholders to deliver quality services to persons with disabilities (PwDs). SA comprises 3 teams: Education, Services & Programmes; Scheme Support and Fund Administration & Grant Processing. The teams oversee the service management of disability homes, adult disability hostels, sheltered workshops and day activity centres, fund and schemes administration.

Job Description

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

Service Administration (SA) Division works with disability SSAs, SPED schools, and partners to deliver quality services to persons with disabilities. SA has 3 teams: Education, Services and Programmes; Scheme Support; and Fund Administration and Grant Processing. The teams oversee disability homes, adult disability hostels, sheltered workshops, day activity centres, and fund and scheme administration. As an intern, you will help monitor SSAs’ performance through service standards checks, service audits, and consolidation of quantitative and qualitative data for reporting.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare qualitative reports on SSAs’ Key Performance Standards, service standards, and service users’ feedback
  • Collate data and ensure accuracy in reports submitted to the Division, including KPIs of disability programmes
  • Coordinate inter-rater reliability checks for Client Assessment Forms for disability programmes
  • Support stakeholder engagements, including logistics and administrative coordination
  • Undertake other duties assigned by the team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Preferred fields of study: Business, Arts and Social Sciences, Social Work, or Science
  • Interest in social services and the disability sector
  • Good organisational skills, analytical, and meticulous, you pay attention to details and data accuracy
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, you work well with stakeholders
  • Team player, diligent, and quick to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
