Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management Reporting

- Assist in AP invoices processing (including payments, recording in system / co-ordination)

- Assist in AR receipts processing (recording in system)

- Assist in preparation of journals entries in accounting system for monthly and adjustment activities.

- Assist the Accountant in keeping full set for dormant entities (including preparation of bank month-end closing schedules / audit schedules)

- Liaising with external parties (e.g. banks, suppliers, corporate secretaries, etc)

Statutory Reporting

- Assist in statutory reporting requirements (e.g. auditor request, XBRL, Tax filing, GST filing, government survey, etc.)

- Liaising with external parties (auditor, tax agent, corporate secretary, etc)

- Assist with finance automation project if any (e.g. UAT testing)

- Provide ad hoc support to the team as and when required and assigned

LEARNING OUTCOME :

The successful Finance Intern will have the opportunity to assist in the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance in accordance to finance policy and procedure. Gain strong understanding of year-end reporting requirements by going through and experience year-end financial audit. The Finance Intern will also get to touch on ad hoc assignment for further exposure as a finance role.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability

• Well‑organized, proactive, and willing to learn in a fast‑paced environment

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles

*We are looking for university undergraduates who are currently pursuing their degree and seeking hands-on finance experience to fill this role.
