About the Internship
We are looking for an Accountancy intern to join our finance team and support our daily operations. You will get hands on exposure to basic accounting work, financial reporting and general administrative tasks. It is a good chance to understand how a finance department runs and to build practical skills along the way.
Responsibilities
Assist with basic bookkeeping work such as data entry, invoicing and updating records
Help prepare simple financial summaries under the guidance of the team
Support monthly bank reconciliation by gathering and checking documents
Organise files, maintain databases and ensure proper record keeping
Assist with GST preparation and other compliance related tasks
Provide support during audits by helping compile documents
Handle general administrative duties assigned by the manager
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or related field, or currently studying in one
Comfortable with numbers and basic accounting principles
Able to use Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Careful, organised and willing to learn
Able to commit to a three to six month internship
