AI Finance – Business Development Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated AI Finance Business Development Intern to support our efforts at the intersection of artificial intelligence and financial services. In this role, you will help identify new market opportunities, support strategic partnerships, analyze industry trends, and contribute to the commercialization of AI-driven financial products. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research on AI applications in financial services, including banking, asset management, insurance, and payments.

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and potential client segments.

• Support the preparation of pitch materials, proposals, and business cases for prospective clients and partners.

• Analyze competitor products, pricing models, and industry developments in AI and fintech.

• Assist with lead generation, CRM management, and sales pipeline tracking.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements.

• Prepare internal reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing insights and recommendations.

• Participate in client meetings, demos, and product showcase sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

• Strong interest in AI, machine learning, fintech, and emerging technologies.

• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities; comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Basic understanding of AI concepts (LLMs, predictive models, automation tools).

• Prior experience in consulting, finance, or tech business development.

• Familiarity with financial modeling or data analysis (Python, SQL, or BI tools is a bonus).
