Job Description

Internship Opportunity with Talent Management

SPH Media Talent Management team oversees internships, scholarship and talent development to support healthy talent recruitment pipeline, career development for SPHM employees and build a healthy talent and succession pipeline to support organisation growth. We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically-minded undergraduate intern to join our team. This internship role offers a unique opportunity to be at the heart of building our future workforce. You will gain hands-on experience in the holistic talent pipeline process, from attracting top-tier candidates through internships and scholarships to analyzing and improving our programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Talent Management Intern, you will be instrumental in three key areas:

1. Talent Pipeline Management & Analytics

  • Support and administer the end-to-end recruitment process for our internship program, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate and internship experience.

  • Analyze data (application sources, conversion rates, interns and supervisor feedback) to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to strengthen our talent pipeline.

  • Track and report on key metrics for both internship and scholarship programmes, providing data-driven insights to the team.

2. Program Review & Strategic Support

  • Actively participate in the review and evaluation of our talent development programs, including internships, scholarships, and career development initiatives.

  • Conduct research and analysis to support data-informed recommendations for process, policy, and program improvements.

  • Collaborate with the team to implement new strategies or change management that enhance programme effectiveness and efficiency.

3. Outreach & Employer Branding

  • Support the planning and execution of high-impact outreach events for both scholarship initiatives and employer branding.

  • Assist in creating content and materials to attract top undergraduate talent to our organization.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and present findings clearly.

  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to manage multiple tasks and processes.

  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a genuine interest to learn and contribute

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
