Description
As a Finance Intern, you will support wealth managers in delivering financial solutions and high-quality service to clients. This role offers hands-on exposure to client engagement and financial product knowledge. You will gain practical experience in client servicing, market research, and credit analysis while learning how to manage client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Assist wealth managers with daily client servicing tasks, including preparing account opening documentation, KYC checks, and onboarding support.Prepare client presentation materials, briefing notes, and internal reports.Maintain and update client databases, call reports, and pipeline trackers.Participate in internal meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance knowledge of financial products and banking services.Shadow wealth managers to learn about client engagement strategies and relationship management best practices.

Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in any field or have graduated from Local Polytechnic. Strong interest in banking, financial services, and client relationship management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of Bloomberg or other financial databases is a plus. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Learning Outcomes
Practical understanding of banking products (loans, deposits, investments, etc. Hands-on experience in client relationship management and business development support. Improved knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in financial industry. Development of professional communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
