Job Description

We are looking for energetic, passionate and creative interns to participate in GIANTECH’s Overseas Internship Program (GOIP). This program provides undergraduates an opportunity to work in a different country and environment, experiencing the work life and culture of another country.

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in working overseas and exploring the business structure in the marine and offshore industry. Interns will gain hands-on experience in the field of business management.

The shortlisted candidate will be trained in Singapore for 2 months, and then proceed to implement the skills and knowledge in our US office for the next 4 months. She/he will collaborating closely with GIANTECH’s Head of Operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Focus on business process flows in the marine industry, from the trading sector to service provision sector.
  2. Gather internal data and conduct business analysis.
  3. Conduct market research and explore business opportunities.
  4. Build standard workflow template that can be populated for future sales activities.
  5. Liaise with customers to understand market demands.

Qualifications:

  1. Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in marketing, business or related fields.
  2. Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  3. Meticulous and strong attention to detail.
  4. Interested in learning business process flows and market intelligence.
  5. Task-oriented and independent.
  6. Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  8. Willing to travel overseas.
  9. Energetic and eager to handle new projects and ideas.
