For this role, a Technical Consultant responsibilities include solution architecting, management, delivery and technical support according to project/ customer needs.
Skills we're looking for:
- Deep understanding of on-premise and cloud computing technologies.(Microsoft Preferred)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Azure Ecosystems
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365 Ecosystems
- Understanding in the following products/ areas (any areas): Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite, Azure Ecosystem, Windows Server, cloud security, ITIL.
- Nice to haves: Experience supporting applications running on either Amazon AWS or MS Azure, Experience with virtualization solutions (vmware, docker, virtualbox, etc), Microsoft Exchange, Hyper-V, System Center,network, SQL,
- Good understanding of the technical fundamentals of the Internet. You should have sufficient knowledge of internet protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/S, FTP, DNS as well as the ability to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Scripting/coding experience In any of the following: Powershell, Java, python
- Experience in removing technology blockers in a matrix organization and so enabling the customer’s business
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Job Requirements:
- Strong Customer Advocacy skills
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong troubleshooting skills to logically go about solving problems
- Subject Matter Expertise in one or more technical area(s)
- Able to present comfortably in front of customers
- Strong teaming skills in a highly collaborative environment
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
