We are seeking passionate and committed individuals to support our global team with the role based in Singapore on brand and campaign development, corporate and community engagement, digital communications and design work across a wide variety of mediums. Job Description

This role is part of the Digital team at WWF International Communications and Marketing Division based in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Digital.

The primary role is to assist in the digital channels of WWF, including campaign activity for Earth Hour over a six-month period, helping to create, maintain and monitor diverse content for WWF and Earth Hour’s global social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.

The role will also involve researching emerging global platforms and consultation with the wider WWF network to deliver key social media materials and source content for WWF and the upcoming Earth Hour campaign.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Content Creation:

  • Devise, develop and implement compelling social media content (videos, images, 360 videos) for the social channels
  • Help ideate/brainstorm image and video based content for global social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Help to create written content for different digital platforms and audiences, demonstrating an understanding of audience profile, platform requirements, Earth Hour and WWF tone-of-voice for campaign related content
  • Strategising a paid ad campaign to reach NON WWF countries
  • Create content for weekly Earth Hour newsletters

Channel Updates:

  • Creation of a content calendar and executing timely release of posts
  • Creation of plan for On-The-Night Earth Hour updates
  • Update Banners and Headers weekly to truly vamp up channels

Audience Management: (Internal and External)

  • Implement Social Listening tools to ensure that the most relevant online conversations with respect to Earth Hour are being tracked and monitored
  • Use online social listening tools to recruit engaged members into a community of like minded people who are interested in nature
  • Manage Earth Hour Champions Group
  • Help maintain relationships with key Earth Hour organisers across the WWF network, sourcing relevant images, videos and information to be adapted for global social media channels
  • Harness the power of WWF Voices and select Earth Hour influencers to deliver digital reach
  • Organize online community events (FB’s Watch Party’s, IGTV Live etc.)

Reporting and Analysing:

  • Support the Digital Team by helping to monitor results of content delivered on global social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Work with analytic tools to report on digital media engagement, identify trends and key learnings

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Advanced written and verbal English skills are a must, along with the maturity to work in a global, multi cultural environment
  • Basic knowledge in design software such as Photoshop
  • Willingness to learn and research about social media trends and industry
  • Understanding of social media platforms and how to engage audiences using different types of image based content
  • Willingness to learn about the global Earth Hour campaign and conservation goals of WWF
  • Interest in environmental and sustainability issues
