WISE is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to contribute to a Southeast Asia that is equitable and sustainable for all. Active in Singapore, Indonesia, and Cambodia, we act to protect the environment, improve water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions, upskill children and youth, and support better lives for migrant workers. In Singapore, we focus on addressing environmental and migrant worker issues, through behaviour change, capacity building, and research.
The Training intern will support the day-to-day running of the Programs and Knowledge team, ranging from training needs analysis to curriculum development to running workshops.
Assist with carrying out training needs analyses with partners, market research, opportunity identification for WISE to provide training
Assist with carrying out regular analysis to identify the training needs of team members, developing a competency framework of WISE skills, and identifying useful internal training curricula
Research and compile sources of learning opportunities, monitor sources for relevant courses and events, and share opportunities with relevant teams
Assist with the development of learning outcomes, lesson plans, and training material for compilation and dissemination of resources on WISE’s Google Drive
Assist with the planning and running of internal online sharing sessions
As this internship is under the Youth Corps Community Internship (YCCI), applicants must be:
Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident aged 17 to 25 years old;
Available for a 5-6 months full-time internship
Current student from ITE/ Polytechnics/ Autonomous Universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private education institutions and overseas institutions) or currently in transition phase (e.g. awaiting for University) and keen in the social and community sector
