We are a bridal boutique that take pride in being locally made and designed, offering wedding gowns, evening dresses and bridal cheongsams for rent. We continually design a collection of new gowns every quarter to ensure that our gown designs are up-to-date with trends, while constantly striving to provide top-notch service to our brides. We are looking for an intern who is reliable, driven and creative. If you have a keen interest in gown design and are enthusiastic about the wedding industry and fashion, we want you! Possibility of a conversion to full-time after the internship if you display the right aptitude and attitude.
The duties that will be undertaken include:
1. Hand sewing and beading work for gowns on a day-to-day basis
2. Working with the design team in the ideation to execution of new gown designs for our quarterly launches. This includes researching on ideas and trends, sourcing for fabric/ lace, and doing lace placements
3. Conceptualizing and organizing styled photoshoots and marketing campaigns with external vendors
4. Supporting the marketing team by ideating and creating content for our social media channels, which includes graphic designing, photo/ video taking of behind-the-scenes etc.
Job Requirements
1. A creative flair and a good eye for detail. Experience in design (fashion/ graphic) would be a bonus but if you are willing to learn, we would be happy to teach!
2. Responsible, self-motivated and willing to get involved hands-on
3. Fluent in English and Chinese (to converse with Chinese speaking seamstresses)
4. Able to start asap!
