 About Turner Human Resources:

The Human Resources for the region supporting the business from client valued day to day HR services to partnering with the regions keys leaders to effectively grow the business while managing the human resources agenda. The HR team is comprised of 15 HR professionals across Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and India supporting over 600 employees in 9 countries.

What will you be doing?

The Human Resources Department of Turner is seeking a Summer intern. We are looking for an energetic, positive, trustworthy, hard-worker to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to gain preliminary experience in the field of Human Resources.

  • Assist in all aspects of Turner Internship program, be the HR contact point for our interns.
  • Assist with the Onboarding experience for interns, including New Hire Orientation
  • Supporting the HR team with various projects, including Employer Branding, HR initiative launches, and Campus key events. Formulate ideas to build our employer branding to target the millennial population
  • Creating artwork such as logos, PowerPoint templates, campaign posters, etc. for HR
  • Analyse HR processes & reports and formulate new ways to streamline the processes
  • Contributing to ad-hoc projects as necessary

What do we require from you?

  • Diploma in Business, Human Resource, Psychology or related
  • A passion for Broadcasting and Media (particularly an interest in film and/or TV) with a desire to develop a career in Employee Engagement or Talent
  • Strong social media, digital, creative and online skills; Photoshop (essential), Illustrator (preferred), InDesign (preferred); social media knowledge (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) essential
  • Strong office administration and IT skills; a confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
  • Analytical with outstanding attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritise and manage workload
  • Self-starter and a fast learner, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a busy team; proactive approach with a resourceful aptitude
  • Proactive and enthusiastic, with the ability to work autonomously to deadlines, take the initiative and keep calm under pressure
  • Interest in media and digital communications
  • Ability to work with confidential materials discreetly and responsibly
  • Excellent communicator (both written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills; confident in communication with senior management
