  • Manage all purchase orders to ensure on time delivery
  • Work with Management Team to improve on time delivery and reduce span on backorders material.
  • Perform weekly/monthly/quarterly material forecasting
  • Managing existing inventory and re-order level based upon historical usage patterns 
    • Coordinates with production planners to plan manufacturing activities, purchasing activities, and delivery schedules
    • Ensures materials and products are available for production and delivery to customers
    • Handles consignment / customer-owned material
    • Coordinate monthly/quarterly inventory counts and work closely with Accountant to reconcile discrepancies to ensure final inventory records are accurate and complete
    • Deliver efficient material movement to drive cost/inventory investment down while improving accuracy and response time to customers 
  • Providing support to supply chain system at corporate level to achieve corporate targets, to include
    • Coordinate and negotiates with vendors for price and procurement 
    • Assists General Manager in development and executing pricing contracts and supplier agreements.
    • On-going assessment of availability, price, market survey and supply of material
    • Ensures that materials and parts utilized in the supply chain meet the minimum requirements for quality assurance standards
    • .Drive improvements in supplier performance through supplier improvement program and supplier corrective action processes.
    • Conduct periodic presentations to senior staff on savings plan, supplier performance, and Inventory.
    • Ensures that new and existing product development teams are properly supported from a sourcing perspective.
    • Resolves purchasing problems between Company and vendor
    • Identifies opportunities for cost savings with suppliers, based on dollar amount, timeliness required, existing open contracts, and/or competitive bidding. 
    • Assists General Manager in reviewing, analysing, modifying, and implementing efficient and effective department procedures
    • Prepares reports as required by management and or statutory reporting 
    • Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement 
    • Maintain company highest standards for quality of goods and materials
  • Provide support to the company production planning. To act as a bridging contact point between production and customer.

Candidate should minimally have a diploma in any engineering discipline. Fresh graduate with a passion for customer service and engineering career are encouraged to apply.
