Job Description

About the Internship

Our client, a distinguished hospitality group renowned for its innovative dining concepts, is offering an immersive internship opportunity in Front-of-House Operations. This program is designed for hospitality students eager to gain practical experience in Singapore's dynamic F&B industry.

Interns will be placed across various outlets, each offering unique dining experiences, allowing for comprehensive exposure to different service styles and operational workflows.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Relations: Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Service Support: Assist in taking orders, serving food and beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining service stations.

  • Reservations & Seating Management: Utilize digital reservation systems to manage bookings, waitlists, and seating arrangements efficiently.

  • Operational Assistance: Support pre-opening setup, including polishing cutlery, folding napkins, and checking inventory; assist in closing routines.

  • Communication: Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and empathy.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • Ambience Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness and presentation of entry points, dining areas, and service stations.

  • Product Knowledge: Learn and confidently describe menu items, including ingredients, dietary information, and drink pairings.

  • Service Recovery: Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to ensure satisfaction.

  • Cross-Outlet Exposure: Depending on scheduling, rotate between different outlets to experience diverse guest segments and service styles.
