As a Junior Science Writer, you will be expected to:
- Write articles about science (examples on our website - www.theskepticalchemist.com)
- Be able to understand scientific papers/concepts and explain them to a wider audience
- Work with editors in a timely manner throughout the entire publishing process
Requirements:
- Diploma or currently pursuing a degree in literature/journalism, science or engineering
- Interest in science-based thinking and science communication
- Any prior writing/publishing experience would be awesome
- Knowledge of SEO practices and analytics software (Google Analytics, Search Console, SERPStash) is an advantage
Note that this is a part-time remote role, work hours are entirely flexible but the workload is ~20 hours a week.
