The Lo & Behold Group's Finance team provides timely, accurate, clear and complete financial information to support our operating venues and management in decision-making. We partner our operations and assist them with business and scenario planning. As the Senior Executive, Finance, you will be part of the Finance team, reporting to the Accountant.
 
In your role, you would mainly be responsible for: 
  • Performing Accounts Payable functions along with other tasks required to support the Finance Team
  • Administering invoice details into the accounting system, review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval authorizations prior to payment and process cheque requests and online funds transfers
  • Prioritising invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms, reconcile vendor billing statements and correct discrepancies and maintain filing and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Respond to vendor and/or management inquiries, including queries from external auditors, and assist the Accountants with month-end closing and/or related reports where required.
Other tasks that you would need to perform include processing AR receipts (including generating of statement of accounts to customers), supporting General Ledger staff in month-end closing, performing bank & other balance sheet reconciliations, and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ideally, you should have relevant qualifications in Accounting. You are to have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to articulate and communicate well in both verbal and written form, be able to work independently with minimum supervision, multi-task and manage multiple projects/priorities and also work effectively under pressure in a fast pace dynamic environment. You should be a self-motivated and dependable team player who is proactive and always willing to go the extra mile, have integrity and demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality, be meticulous with a high degree of attention to detail and have excellent organizational skills.
