Job Description

 

We are looking for great individuals who want to be part of a fast growing technology company. As a Business Development Intern, you will provide a helping hand to our sales team as we identify opportunities and onboard new clients onto our software, tessaract.io. A good attitude and good ethics are a must, ability to thrive in a startup environment, with a desire to do great things as a team!

Responsibilities

  • Develop deep knowledge of tessaract.io
  • Approach professional services firms to learn about the challenges that they are facing and diagnose how Tessaract is the right solution for them
  • Book meetings with prospects for the Company’s sales team
  • Support sales team with preparation of sales pitches, decks and proposals
  • Develop relevant content to help the sales team close deals
  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and accurate way, via phone, email and virtual chat
  • Identify customer needs and help customers use specific features
  • Liaise with team members to find the best solutions to answer customers’ questions
  • Support the sales team with post sales activities such as grant applications and handover to Projects team
  • Update the team on sales activities and progress
  • Maintain a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times
  • Familiarize with new products and services as they are introduced
  • Respect client confidentiality at all times

Qualifications & Skills

  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Diploma / Degree in any field with the relevant customer service experience
  • Tech savvy
