Frontend & UI-UX Developer @ EdTech Start-up
We are looking for outstanding developers who are passionate about improving education with technology. We are looking forward to having motivated and effective developers join us on this internship programme.
For our Frontend & UI/UX Designer, your primary role would be to create both functional and intuitive features that satisfy our users’ needs and help us grow and engage our users. We expect you to be proactive in learning and resilient in the face of challenges. You should be able to take critical feedback objectively and view this internship as an opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities
- Keen understanding of human-computer interaction design (HCID)
- Proactively gather user requirements and create iterations based on feedback received
- Improve existing interface by designing graphic elements and building navigation components
- Design interactive mock-ups with the use of design software and wireframe tools
- Justify your choice of designs in achieving intended operation goals
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Transforms graphical mockups into HTML / CSS and creates functional interfaces.
- Self-motivated with wide latitude for independent judgment in a dynamic working environment
- Potential managerial opportunities
Required Skills
- Good competency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Command line and wireframe tools
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and collaborative attitude
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
Good to have
- Good sense for design
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
