Job Description

Traineeship Description

  • This position reports to the Managing Consultant/Managing Partner. Trainees will be exposed to HR and Administrative tasks such as report writing, database management, basic candidate sourcing and introduction to business development principles.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Administrative duties e.g. preparing Candidate Reports, Sales Reports, job posting, invoice requests etc.
  • Conduct candidate sourcing through various channels.
  • Regular updating and maintenance of company database records through Applicant Tracking System.
  • Following up with candidates on administrative tasks such as reference checks and scheduling of interviews.
  • Participation in team meetings and staff events.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as required.

Competencies

  • How to present and write concise and effective reports
  • How to understand key job requirements from a job description and successfully source for suitable candidate profiles across different roles
  • How to manage an applicant tracking system
  • How to communicate proficiently in a recruitment setting, with colleagues, superiors and candidates of various profiles

Requirements

  • University degree in business-related field desirable
  • Any prior experience in recruitment/search, sales and business development is highly advantageous
  • Planning and Organizing: Ability to execute a variety of tasks on multiple projects concurrently
  • Interpersonal Skills: Particular advanced listening skills and excellent telephone etiquette
  • Judgement and Decision Making: Ability to evaluate date collected and render sound recommendations
  • Writing Skills: Ability to construct concise descriptive and evaluate written summaries
