Trade Processing Specialist (1 Yr Renewable Contract + 1 Mth Completion Bonus)

Position: TRADE PROCESSING SPECIALIST (1 yr renewable Contract + 1 mth completion bonus)
The actual salary range is: $3,000 - $4,000
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for trade booking of various securities products of client and proprietary trades for Singapore and Hong Kong booking centres
- Ensure daily activities are conducted professionally and accurately while ensuring that internal guidelines and policies are followed
KEY FEATURES OF THE POSITION
- Coordinates with internal departments and external sub custodians, custodians, agents & brokers to ensure that daily work meets organizational standards
- Monitors the queries received and provide responses or holding replies within a reasonable timeframe
- Trade booking of executed transactions covering securities such as Equities, Bonds, Structured products, Funds, Derivatives and Precious Metals.
- Perform daily nostro funding calculation and send out the necessary funds transfer instructions.
- Monitor trade booking exceptions queues, check daily reports, reply to emails which range from Front Office queries and escalations, and counter-parties/custodians settlement queries, and ensure these are cleared throughout the day and escalated, if necessary.
- Perform daily investigation of breaks in the transitory and suspense accounts.
- Trade Level reconciliation
- Review of timeliness of generation of contract notes to clients.
- Ensures timely submission of generation of contract notes to clients
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

Professional and Technical-
- Good knowledge and understanding of the various securities products (i.e. equities, fixed income instruments, funds, structured products, derivatives etc)
- Candidate with relevant experience in SWIFT (MT5xx) will be an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office software
