Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting in planning and developing engineering proposals, projects; prepare engineering plan, assisting in coordinating project meetings, assist in review specifications, designs and involve in project budgeting and cost estimates; may assist in environmental projects and proposals.

Purpose of the role

This role is responsible for:

  • Understanding and carrying out all tasks given by the ES Engineers .
  • Collaborating with other engineers and workers to design, develop, test, and improve processess and engineering processes.
  • Collaborating in ECC, efficient in RCA and analyatic in cost assumptions and being part of the project team.
  • Ensuring all expenses stay within the allocated budget.
  • Performing regular inspections of equipment and ensuring technical drawings in accordance to completion or installation of equipment.
  • Providing assistance to different staff or engineering team.
  • Inspecting inventory and reporting inconsistencies as well as ordering more spares, materials and new equipment.
  • Review with Drafting Office on the CAD according to specifications, PRID and technical updates.
  • Participating in various learning experiences, which may include attending workshops and training sessions.
  • Calibrating and troubleshooting equipment as required.

Education

  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechnical)
  • New Graduates or 1-2 years’ experience in engineering in a manufacturing environment would be a plus. Alternatively if from chemical, petrochemical or pharmaceutical industries
