The Job
In this role, you will be an Integration Engineer with deep Project Management experience to manage our merchant integrations. You will work closely with our sales and merchant relationship teams while actively leading communication with both merchants and their development teams (internal / external). You will be well structured and organised and is happy to help merchants with their technical integration. You will naturally have an affinity for retail, digital commerce or technology.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing various stakeholders (from CEOs to external development agencies) and communicating effectively
- Managing multiple concurrent integration projects
- Effectively prioritising the pipeline of merchant on-boarding while managing the multiple stakeholders involved
- Leading integrations from a merchant’s POV (professional and efficient)
- A continuous improvement mindset: driven by direct feedback from merchants with the goal of improving the on-boarding process
- Supporting merchants across multiple platforms with varying levels of complexity and challenges
The Profile
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field with at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- You have a solid understanding of REST API with some coding experience (language does not matter)
- Experience with payments-related products will be an added advantage
- Having solid understanding of e-commerce platforms is a plus (no specific technical e-commerce platform knowledge required)
- You possess strong communication skills, in both persuasion and presentation
- You are passionate, hungry, determined and have a strong desire to learn
- You are willing to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done
- You are able to work independently but appreciate that team is vital to succeed
- You have excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills
