The Job

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy cloud-based infrastructure for running web and mobile applications 
• Scale and optimize a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases, web servers, application frameworks, caches, and distributed messaging systems 
• Automate the deployment and configuration of the virtualized infrastructure and the entire software stack 
• Maintain and improve the CI/CD pipeline 
• Support several Linux servers running our SaaS platform stack on AWS 
• Define and set processes to identify performance bottlenecks & scaling pitfalls 
•  Manage robust monitoring and alerting infrastructure 
• Maintain and ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure on AWS 
• Support and train internal users in AWS 

Ideal Candidate

Skills Required:

• S1/Undergraduate minimum: in computer science, IT, or any relevant fields 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience 
• Successful completion of self-managed web-based projects 
• Proficient in architectural approaches - design, caching, data storage, security etc. 
• Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration and Python/Shell scripting 
• Experience handling cloud infrastructure on AWS and deployment automation (preferred services include EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, Batch, ECR) 
• Experience in CI/CD (CodeBuild, Bitbucket Pipelines) and monitoring tools like Datadog, Cloud Watch Monitoring, etc. 
• Have knowledge about Containers and Container Management Services (Docker/Kubernetes/EKS/ECS/ECR) 
• Proficient in NoSQL & SQL databases (preferably MongoDB and MySQL) 
• Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision 
• Solid verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with a 5–10-person team
