The Job

Your responsibilities will include: 

Client Service 

  • Taking ownership of a portfolio of companies as assigned by the Manager and attending to the ongoing administration of existing client companies while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Acting as a point of contact for international clients to assist in the establishment of new corporate structures and ongoing administration.
  • Assisting in the AGM process of companies, monitoring closely the statutory timelines for client companies and ensuring timely reminders are sent to clients.
  • Attending to new corporate bank account applications.
  • Attending to termination, liquidation and striking off of companies.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact for liaising with the Accounting Department to ensure that financial statements are completed on a timely basis for companies under the candidate’s portfolio.
  • Attending to the ongoing maintenance of corporate records for client companies. 
  • Attending to Employment Pass / Dependents’ pass applications.
  • Attending to the redirection of emails to clients and any other ad-hoc administrative tasks that may be assigned by the Manager from time to time.
  • Attending to the preparation and coordination of the corporate documents, including completion of filing with the relevant governmental authorities within the stipulated deadline.

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Attending to the annual compliance reviews for existing clients and ensuring any deficiencies that are raised during the reviews are attended in a timely manner. 
  • Having a good grasp of the Group’s internal policy and procedures and ensuring that the updated internal policy and procedure are strictly adhered to and complied with. 
  • Keeping up to date with ACRA and other relevant industry and jurisdiction developments from a legal, tax and regulatory perspective, with guidance from the Manager.

Ideal Candidate

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in corporate secretarial/banking/ finance or regulatory industry with solid knowledge of the Singapore Corporate Law, in particular the Companies Act and familiarity with the corporate secretarial practice.
  • You have strong organizational skills and can handle multiple tasks in a prompt and efficient manner. 
  • You are meticulous and pay attention to detail.
  • You have an understanding and appreciation for client sensitivity regarding confidentiality. 
  • Hands-on experience and familiarity with the procedural steps of the various corporate transactions which may include but are not limited to, shares buyback, the redemption of redeemable preference shares, conversion of shares, merger and acquisition, alteration of share capital, member voluntary liquidation would be an added advantage.
