Job Description

Brief Description :

As our Intern specialising in Project Management in our Experiential Learning Programmes (ELP) Complement,You will report directly to our ELP Senior Course Manager who oversees the Complement. You will be trained to support the ELP team in designing, facilitating and managing both in-person and virtual experiences as well as providing business development support.

Roles and Responsibilities : 

1) Designing, developing, implementing and facilitating innovative and socially impactful experiential learning courses in Singapore and overseas. These courses would be experienced in in-person, virtual or blended formats.

2) Supporting our non-profit initiative Resilience Trails, where Skillseed, alongside friends with disabilities, single mothers and individuals from other under-resourced communities, as well as our partners from AMKFSC Community Services, have co-created trails in our Guides’ neighbourhoods to bring our participants along a journey of empowerment, empathy and endless possibilities. 

3) Supporting the ELP team to coordinate with our diverse partners and stakeholders; managing course logistics, admin matters and budgets from end to end.

4) Providing support to identify, develop and cultivate professional relationships with a diverse client base through research, virtual and/or face-to-face outreach, exhibitions and follow-up of leads from our online content and referrals.

5) Supporting our ELP and Training teams in widening our outreach to potential client partners, including untapped markets locally and internationally.

Requirements : 

1) Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

2) Preferably competent in a Second Language, written and verbal

3) Familiar with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite, especially Powerpoint and Excel

4) People-orientedness - You enjoy and naturally host or join community or gatherings without being asked to; you are also a natural connector who enjoys building relationships across different networks, backgrounds and cultures 

5) A growth-oriented mindset. It sounds like a platitude, but it’s crucial in our space - you are always seeking to improve yourself and it reflects in your work quality

6) Prior experience in project management and/or business development will be preferred

7) Prior experience in at least one or more of the following areas: service learning, facilitation, community development, marketing and/or business development, social causes and youth development will be preferred
