Incorporated in 1984, main board-listed Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH) is Asia's leading media organisation, engaging minds and enriching lives across multiple languages and platforms.
SPH's core business is publishing of newspapers, magazines and books in both print and digital editions. It also owns other digital products, online classifieds, radio stations and outdoor media.
On the property front, SPH owns 70% in a real estate investment trust called SPH REIT which comprises Paragon, a premier upscale retail mall and medical suite/office property in Orchard Road, The Clementi Mall, a mid-market suburban mall and The Rail Mall, a stretch of shopping and dining outlets along Upper Bukit Timah Road. OctoRocket Marketing Intern:
A subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings Limited, OctoRocket.asia is a B2B online marketplace for wholesale food, with a focus in facilitating cross-border trade across Asia. OctoRocket is looking for a copywriting intern with an entrepreneurial perspective and a flair for identifying value-adding articles for our target market.
What You'll Be Doing
● Researching and conducting Google search engine optimization keyword analysis
● Brainstorming topics and building a content strategy around relevant keyword clusters
● Writing informative, value-adding articles for our target market of wholesale food buyers such as cafe, restaurant and bar owners, as well as mini-mart owners
● Writing effective titles for our social media, EDM, website and blog to lead to the written articles
● Sourcing attractive photos or graphics for your written articles
● Scheduling, tagging, and uploading of content on social media and other marketing platforms.

Requirements
● Currently pursuing a degree in Mass Communications or other related fields
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Works well both independently and as part of cross-functional teams
● Experience and knowledge of photo editing software e.g. Photoshop, GIMP, etc will be helpful
● Experience and knowledge of video editing software e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effect, will be helpful
● Experience and knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Facebook Pages, Instagram, Linkedin, etc)
