Suitability
Those matriculating into areas of Business/Accountancy/Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Law/Engineering/IT or those with an interest in investments are welcome
Profile
ORD Personnel or current undergrads welcome for this internship opening. No experience is required as training will be provided
Allowance
A comprehensive allowance of $2000 to $2500 will be offered to shortlisted candidates. An ipad will be given for good performers
Training
Shortlisted candidates will undergo a series of training in investment, accounting, business and corporate law topics including Exchange Traded Funds, KYC, Banking Compliance, Roles of Bankers, uses of various investment vehicles and instruments, contracts and law, Financial Statements analysis (Company), Hedge Funds, Investment Portfolio customization, Securities analysis, Economic principles and etc. Certifications would be awarded upon successful completion of certain workshops
Business Functions
Candidates will be exposed to various business management functions including HR operations and Business operations during this internship role. Selected interns will go through board meetings to understand how board meetings are conducted and planned for investment and fintech companies. Candidates will also be introduced to business modules such as corporate law , sampling methods (used by management), dotted line matrix reporting theory and etc
Networking
Shortlisted candidates will get exposed to Fund Managers, Fintech companies, Accountants, Lawyers, Chief Financial Officers to build up professional network of the candidates
Jobscope
Interns will assist us in the presentation of investment products to accredited, corporate or retail investors. Clients will be referred to the interns for presentations
