• Assist in research and development of flavours
• Testing of products in various applications, according to project requirements
• Explore new applications of existing products
• Assist in creating food and beverage prototypes and contributing to new product ideas
• Refining of prototypes made to fit the request of the consumer
• Ensure that food and beverage prototypes are in accordance with quality and food safety standards set by the ministry and the company.
• Assist in identifying ways to improve quality of prototypes in view of enhancing the products made by the company
• Source for food lab supplies
• Assist in sensory testing and consumer data for further product improvements
• Maintain accurate records of projects, development and results
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of laboratories and equipment

Requirements

• Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology or related fields 
• Eligibility Criteria for SGUnited Traineeships:
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and
  • Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from ITEs, polytechnics, universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or
  • Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020.
