Job Description

SecondMuse is planning to hire up to two (2) interns to support this program. In order to be considered, the candidate should be available a minimum of 20 hours/week to span a minimum of ten (10) consecutive weeks. The intern will work collaboratively with the Singapore Hub Associates and report to Project Leads.

We ask that this candidate be available to join us as soon as possible, with the latest start date as 1 May, 2020.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Singapore project teams with event planning and logistics, internal documentation, project management and stakeholder engagement activities;

  • Participate and contribute fresh ideas to the team’s design of new programming areas for The Incubator Network;

  • Provide support in drafting high quality internal and external facing reports, project proposals, briefing documents, and presentations

  • Disciplined in working independently and remotely with virtual teams;

  • Curious and learning oriented;

  • Capacity to work and thrive in a growing, fast-paced entrepreneurial organization within a collaborative and multinational environment;

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to details;

  • A talent for clear, concise writing;

  • Excellent critical thinking and research skills;

  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications;

  • A passionate go-getter that is able to break down project goals into actionable steps and perform under minimal supervision.

  • Passionate about the issue of ocean plastics and eager to learn.

Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in a related field through project work or previous internships is a plus (eg: international development, social enterprise, innovation and entrepreneurship, sustainability, recycling/circular economy);

  • Familiarity and interest in open innovation programming such as challenges or hackathons, acceleration and community organising is a plus
