Samsung Electronics Singapore Internship 1H '24 – Digital Appliances, Audio Visual & Display (Full Time)


A. Brand Marketing Design Intern (Digital Appliance)

This role supports Brand Marketing team in the Digital Appliance department to contribute effectively by developing and executing marketing and advertising campaigns, this includes digital, social and BTL marketing collaterals. This role will involve into projects such as: Islandwide Promotion, Brand Fair – Best Denki, COURTS, Audio House and New category launches.

  • Work closely with colleagues in the Brand Marketing team to manage marketing campaigns – ATL & BTL.
  • Liaising with media, printers and publishers as required and managing the production of all marketing materials.
  • Manage timeline for day-to-day tasks.
  • Delivery tasks assigned effectively and efficiently.
  • Work closely and able to communicate effectively internally with Product Marketing team, Retail Marketing team and Corporate Marketing team. And externally with Creative Agency, Media Agency and printers.


B. Retail Marketing & Marketing Communication Intern (Audio Visual)

Retail Marketing

  • Product EOL retail management and new model launch event
  • Retail store enhancement execution with objectives of delivering product value proposition
  • Assist towards campaign execution, tracking as well as report generation
  • Execute operational tasks through collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and stakeholders, as well as external partners

Marcom

  • Support activities leading to 2024 product launches
  • Participate in developing marketing campaigns communication and materials
  • Assist in Digital Marketing aspect from social posting to creative content creation to increase product / campaign awareness
  • System administrative role for campaign-related purpose


C. Digital & Social Media Marketing Intern (Display)

In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to work on projects related on digital and social media trends, daily monitoring and creating campaign reports. The idea candidate will have to be passionate for marketing and have abundance of ideas in building efficient strategies.

  • Understand consumer and market insights for Samsung’s key categories via: Social listening, Competitors’ benchmarking, Mystery shopping and Surveys
  • Innovative, Digital Marketing Strategist: Plan for Advertising and promotional activities, Development of visual assets and Weekly reports
  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns/ promotional activities
  • Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
  • Devising and presenting ideas and strategies
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy
  • Maintaining websites and looking at data analytics
  • Organizing events and product exhibitions
  • Updating databases
  • Managing campaigns on social media

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing / Media / Communication / Business or equivalent (preferred)
  • Possesses creative flair, coupled with versatility and adaptability
  • Initiative, willingness and resourcefulness to find ways to learn
  • Outgoing, sociable with good interpersonal skills
  • Creative self-starter and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Creative with good design dense
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint)


Good to have:-

  • Knowledge in design tool (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator) and/or digital imaging tool
  • Market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
  • Familiarity with social media and web analytics
