Role: To determine their skin care needs and sell them products to enhance their appearance based on those needs.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate clients’ skin condition and appearance

• Discuss available treatments and determine which products will improve clients’ skin quality

• Recommend skin care products, such as cleansers, lotions, or creams

• Refers clients to a dermatologist when necessary.

• Maintains records of treatments administered; monitors and documents clients progress.

• Maintains current knowledge of new skincare treatments, developments, and products.

• Performs other related duties as needed.

Results:

• Assessing the condition of clients' skin and providing the appropriate treatment.

• Recommending skincare products and teaching customers about skincare techniques.

• Educating customers about make-up application techniques.

• Keeping updated records of clients’ skincare regimens.

• Recommending skincare products, such as cleansers, lotions, and creams, and selling these to clients.

• Responding to questions posed by customers online, by phone or in-person

• Planning, organizing and participating in skin care events and beauty conventions

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills*

• Background in customer service

• Knowledge in sales

Preferably the following - 

• Extensive knowledge of skincare treatments and products.

• Extensive knowledge of skin conditions and how to treat them.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to consult with clients to determine the best method of treatment.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
