Job Description

HR Intern - Recruitment & Marketing (No Prior Experience Needed)

Through the 12 weeks internship program, candidates will experience rigorous training and mentorship guidance in the field of Talent Acquisition. This is a critical function of Human Resources in sourcing & hiring the manpower required for businesses to function optimally. 

Job description 

  • Intern(s) will be assigned to a team and a dedicated Supervisor/Mentor, in-charge of providing training and guidance during this attachment period
  • Support the full-suite of Talent Acquisition; including managing job boards, screening applicants, interviewing & supporting the job offer, and onboarding process of new hires.
  • Utilize online platforms (eg. Job Portals, Telegram, LinkedIn etc.) & database in the sourcing of profiles, conduct pre-screening and recommend candidates to suitable openings based on their interests, preferences, and skill sets
  • Support the liason and arrangement of interview process between candidates and hiring companies
  • Support the team in the job offer process and provide onboarding and administrative support to candidates to ensure a positive working experience

• Any other admin and ad hoc assignments requested by your Supervisor/Mentor Learning Outcome: 

  • Achieve a broad-based understanding of Human Resources, as well as the recruiting & headhunting process for roles across various functions and industries (such as Banking & Finance, Healthcare, Engineering, IT/Technology sectors)
  • Acquire an understanding of different personality types using DiSC Profile and how to work with different types of people
  • Development of interpersonal skills such as communication, customer service, and people skills as interns will be better apt at handling various scenarios during job recommendations and candidate management.
  • Able to handle communications professionally with internal stakeholders & candidates of various seniority and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office in a corporate setting
